I wrote this while sitting in my room in the summer on this very laptop my mind perplexed but needing release from thinking. It's directed at people; people that I've come to know and love, so enjoy, for what it's worth.

Time is all we need.
All we want.
All we crave.
Time is the dividing line between your mind and mine.
Our lives.
So distinct.
SO surreal it's almost unreal.
We think of logic as an escape.
We see only the contrast of light to dark.
The unprecedented yet sickeningly true reality.
Life isn't our friend, yet it's not our enemy.
It's a game.
A chess game.
We move, falter, stumble, double back, only to be met with more obstacles.
To be broken.
TO be reincarnated.
To feel again.
Breathe again.
Want again.
We aren't alone.
If we choose not to be.
The candle blows in the wind.
While my eyes meet yours.
The rain falls.
And you ask me ' is it okay to feel this way?'
...To feel loved.
...To feel those feelings which you yourself, so desperately tried to hide.
We all try to hide them.
To erase them.
TO un establish the foundations of our own minds.
Rebuild.
Recreate the structure of yourself.
Imagination can be your dreamscape.
If you let me be your reality.
Time: the dividing line between your mind and mine.
Melodically ticking away.
We waste away.
Never wanting to see.
To know.
To understand.
Erase me.
And bring me back, and let me be the one you seek.
For what I speak is all subjective.
And disregarded by the smiling judges of America.
It's abstract.
Abstract as those words you speak.
Those words you murmur while the world stands still.
If time could stop.
I'd replay every word, every sylable spoken.
Just to know.
That in fact,
Time; is the dividing line, between your mind, and mine.
